Foolproof Pie Crust

Instead of buying a crust, try this foolproof pie crust. It makes two healthy-sized crusts. Delicate and tender, this crust is flaky and a great base for any pie. It’s a great recipe for a beginner to learn to make. The vinegar in the crust keeps the dough from getting tough and makes it a little more forgiving if you have to re-roll it.

Ingredients

FOOL PROOF PIE CRUST:

  • 4 cup(s) all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cup(s) shortening
  • 1 tablespoon(s) sugar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) apple cider vinegar
