๐ Mediterranean Lemon Garlic Baked Fish
A light, healthy, and classic Mediterranean dish packed with fresh herbs, olive oil, and citrus flavor.
๐งพ Ingredients (Serves 3โ4)
For the fish

1 kg white fish fillets (sea bass, cod, tilapia, or snapper)

4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil ๐ซ

Juice of 1 large lemon ๐

Zest of ยฝ lemon

5 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp dried oregano
-
1 tsp paprika
-
ยฝ tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp salt (or to taste)

ยฝ tsp chili flakes (optional)
For topping
-
1 onion, thinly sliced
-
1 tomato, sliced
-
ยฝ cup olives (green or black)
-
Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions

Preheat oven
Set oven to 190ยฐC (375ยฐF). -
Prepare marinade
In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. -
Marinate fish
Place fish fillets in a baking dish. Pour marinade evenly over the fish.
Let rest for 15โ20 minutes for best flavor. -
Add vegetables
Arrange onion slices, tomato slices, and olives over and around the fish. -
Bake
Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until fish flakes easily. -
Garnish & serve
Sprinkle fresh parsley or cilantro.
