Homemade Cinnamon Roll Bites
Soft, fluffy, and coated in sweet cinnamon sugar, these homemade cinnamon roll bites are bite-sized treats that are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. Finished with a simple glaze, they taste just like mini cinnamon rolls.
Ingredients
Dough

2¼ teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)

¾ cup warm milk (110°F / 43°C)

¼ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

½ teaspoon salt

3 cups all-purpose flour
Cinnamon Coating

½ cup granulated sugar

1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
Glaze (Optional)

1 cup powdered sugar
-
2–3 tablespoons milk
-
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.

Add remaining sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt. Mix well.

Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms. Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth.

Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

Roll dough into small balls (about 1 inch) and place in the baking dish.

Mix cinnamon and sugar. Brush dough balls with melted butter, then sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.

Bake for 18–22 minutes, until golden and cooked through.

Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm bites if desired.
