Shrimp and Cod in Creamy Garlic Sauce
Tender shrimp and flaky cod simmered in a rich, creamy garlic sauce that’s full of flavor yet simple to make. This comforting seafood dish is perfect for a cozy dinner and pairs beautifully with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
Ingredients

12 oz (340 g) cod fillets, cut into chunks

12 oz (340 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup chicken or seafood broth

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions

Season cod and shrimp lightly with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add cod pieces and sear for about 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until just pink. Remove and set aside.

Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.

Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until the sauce thickens.

Return cod and shrimp to the skillet and gently simmer for 2–3 minutes until heated through.

Finish with parsley and lemon juice if using. Serve warm.
