Cheesy Garlic Parmesan Crusted Chicken Cutlets

Crispy, golden chicken cutlets coated in a cheesy garlic Parmesan crust that’s full of flavor and incredibly satisfying. This easy recipe is perfect for busy weeknights and pairs well with pasta, salad, or vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken cutlets (or 2 chicken breasts, sliced thin)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¾ cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)

  • 2–3 tablespoons olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken cutlets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. Set up three bowls: flour in one, eggs whisked with milk in another, and a mix of Parmesan, mozzarella, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, parsley, and paprika in the third.

  3. Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip into the egg mixture, then press into the cheese mixture until well coated.

  4. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  5. Cook chicken for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (165°F / 74°C).

  6. Let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
