Ingredients

12 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained

2 tablespoons butter

1½ lbs ground beef

½ yellow onion, diced

2 cans (15 oz each) tomato sauce

¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

8 oz sour cream

1 cup cottage cheese

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

Cook the beef:
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened. Add ground beef and cook until fully browned. Drain excess grease. -
Make the sauce:
Stir in tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Mix well and simmer for 2–3 minutes. -
Layer the casserole:
Spread half of the cooked egg noodles evenly in the bottom of the prepared dish. Spoon the beef mixture over the noodles and spread evenly. Top with remaining noodles. -

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream and cottage cheese and mix until fully combined. -
Assemble:
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the noodles. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. -
Bake:
