How To Make Country Ranch Green Beans ‘n Potatoes with Bacon
Step 1: Cook the Potatoes
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the baby potatoes and cook for 10–12 minutes, or until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Green Beans
In the same pot (or a separate one), boil the green beans for 5–7 minutes until they are tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
Step 3: Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet, fry the bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble. Reserve 1 tablespoon of the bacon grease in the skillet for added flavor.
Step 4: Make the Ranch Butter
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, ranch seasoning mix, and minced garlic until smooth.
Step 5: Combine Everything
Heat the skillet with the reserved bacon grease over medium heat. Add the cooked potatoes, green beans, and crumbled bacon. Pour the ranch butter mixture over top and toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.
💡 Tip:
For extra flavor, try roasting the potatoes instead of boiling them, or add a sprinkle of shredded cheddar before serving for a cheesy twist!
