These golden, pan-fried crepes are filled with melty cheese and savory ham—crispy outside, soft and gooey inside, just like in the photo.
📝 Ingredients (serves 4)
For the crepes
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1¼ cups milk
- 1 tbsp melted butter or oil
- Pinch of salt
For the filling
- 200–250 g sliced ham (turkey or beef ham works too)
- 200 g cheese (mozzarella, emmental, or a mix)
- Black pepper (optional)
For frying
- Butter or oil
👩🍳 Instructions
- Make the crepe batter
In a bowl, whisk flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, and salt until smooth. Let rest 10 minutes. - Cook the crepes
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease. Pour a thin layer of batter, swirl, and cook 1–2 minutes per side. Set aside. - Fill & roll
Place ham and cheese on each crepe. Roll tightly like a wrap, folding the sides inward. - Pan-fry until crispy
Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Fry the rolls seam-side down first, turning until all sides are golden and cheese is melted. - Serve hot
Slice in half and enjoy while the cheese is stretchy and gooey 😋
