How to Make Cheesy Stuffed Crescent Rolls

This recipe comes together pretty quickly. You know, it’s one of those meals that feels fancy but is actually super easy.

Step 1: Cook the Filling

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and cook for about 3 minutes until soft. Add garlic and stir for 30 seconds.

Now add ground beef. Break it apart with a spoon and cook until browned.

Season with:

  • Paprika
  • Black pepper
  • Salt

Cook until the beef is fully done.

Drain any extra grease, then remove from heat.

Step 2: Add the Cheese

Let the beef cool for a few minutes.

Mix in:

  • Cream cheese
  • Shredded mozzarella

Stir until creamy and combined. The warm beef helps melt everything together a bit, which is perfect.

Step 3: Prepare the Dough

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

Step 4: Fill and Roll

Place a spoonful of filling on the wide end of each triangle.

Roll from the wide side toward the tip, tucking in the filling as you go.

Set each roll seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Step 5: Add Egg Wash

Beat one egg.

Brush the tops of each roll with egg wash. This gives that glossy golden finish people love.

Step 6: Bake

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. That filling gets hot!
