One such article claims Washington prayed for Kaleb and sent him an emotional final message. Another repeats similar language about the actor being heartbroken.
However, those websites do not provide the kind of independent evidence necessary to establish such a major celebrity story.
There is no clearly identified statement from Washington.
There is no verified interview.
There is no credible report from a major news organization confirming that Washington had a personal relationship with Kaleb.
And, most importantly, the claim that Kaleb himself recently died conflicts with recent official Shriners material describing him as an active patient ambassador.
