How to Make Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Ribs
Step 1: Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for the best texture.
Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
Rub olive oil over both sides.
Step 2: Season the Ribs
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and chili powder.
Rub the seasoning mixture generously over the ribs.
Step 3: Add to Slow Cooker
Cut the racks into sections if needed to fit into the slow cooker.
Place the ribs inside the crockpot.
Step 4: Slow Cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours until the ribs are very tender.
Step 5: Glaze the Ribs
Carefully transfer the ribs to a baking sheet.
Whisk together barbecue sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
Brush the ribs generously with the BBQ glaze.
Step 6: Broil for Caramelization
Broil the ribs for 3–5 minutes until the sauce becomes sticky and caramelized.
Serve hot with extra barbecue sauce.
