🍕 Pepperoni Pizza Biscuit Casserole
An easy, cheesy pizza-style casserole made with refrigerated biscuits, ground beef, pizza sauce, pepperoni, and lots of mozzarella.
Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated biscuits (about 16 biscuits total)
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 jar pizza or marinara sauce (about 24 oz / 680 g)
- 2–2½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20–25 pepperoni slices
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: grated Parmesan
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cut or flatten the biscuits and arrange them across the bottom of the dish, pressing them together slightly to create a crust.
Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the biscuits. Add the cooked ground beef, then arrange the pepperoni slices over the top. Add a little more sauce, then cover everything generously with shredded mozzarella.
Bake for about 25–35 minutes, or until the biscuits are fully cooked in the center and the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden. If the cheese browns too quickly, loosely cover the dish with foil for the final few minutes.
