• 1 large apple (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith work great), cored and sliced into ¼-inch rings

• 2 tbsp brown sugar

• 1 tsp ground cinnamon

• 1 tbsp lemon juice

• 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

• Optional: powdered sugar or icing for drizzling
