Chocoflan , also known as “impossible cake,” is a Mexican dessert that combines the best of both worlds: a delicious , creamy flan and a soft, fluffy chocolate cake. What makes it unique is the “miracle” of its baking, as the layers invert during baking.
Ingredients:
For the flan:
- 1 can of condensed milk (397 g)
- 1 can of evaporated milk (360 g)
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
For the chocolate cake:
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix (or your favorite chocolate cake recipe)
- Ingredients that the mixture requires (usually eggs, oil and water)
For the candy:
- 1/2 cup of sugar
Extras:
- Butter or non-stick spray to grease the mold
- Hot water for the bain-marie
