CHOCOFLAN OR “IMPOSSIBLE CAKE”

Chocoflan  , also known as “impossible cake,” is a Mexican dessert that combines the best of both worlds: a delicious , creamy flan and a soft, fluffy chocolate cake. What makes it unique is the “miracle” of its baking, as the layers invert during baking.

 Ingredients:

For the flan:

  • 1 can of condensed milk (397 g)
  • 1 can of evaporated milk (360 g)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

For the chocolate cake:

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix (or your favorite chocolate cake recipe)
  • Ingredients that the mixture requires (usually eggs, oil and water)

For the candy:

  • 1/2 cup of sugar

Extras:

  • Butter or non-stick spray to grease the mold
  • Hot water for the bain-marie
