Pork Fillets in Creamy Sauce with Mushrooms and Fresh Salad

While steak in sauce is popular in many European cuisines, this version with mushrooms and cream has a distinctly French flair  🇫🇷 (bonjour!). And if we add a fresh salad with a light vinaigrette, we have the perfect balance between creamy and crunchy. 😋✨

🍽️ Ingredients (4 servings):

🐷 For the fillets:
4 pork fillets (loin or leg, thin)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp of butter 🧈

1 tbsp of olive oil

1 clove of chopped garlic

200g of fresh sliced ​​mushrooms 🍄

200 ml of cooking cream or whipping cream

½ tsp Dijon mustard (optional)

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley 🌿

🥗 For the fresh salad:

Romaine lettuce or mixed greens

½ cucumber, thinly sliced 🥒

1 large diced tomato 🍅

¼ of a red onion, julienned

1 grated carrot 🥕

Fresh cheese or cubed feta (optional)

🥣 Quick vinaigrette:

3 tbsp of olive oil

1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar

1 teaspoon of honey

Salt and Pepper
