Ingredients:
For the filling:
1 cup cabbage, finely shredded
1 cup carrots, julienned or grated
1/2 cup mushrooms, finely chopped (shiitake or button mushrooms work well)
1/4 cup bean sprouts (optional)
1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp rice vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
For wrapping:
10-12 spring roll wrappers (you can find these in the frozen section of Asian grocery stores)
For frying:
Vegetable oil (for deep frying)
