Super Soft Homemade Dinner Rolls

Introduction (Short)

These homemade rolls are incredibly soft, buttery, fluffy, and perfect for breakfast, dinner, or as sliders. They’re easy to make and bake beautifully golden just like bakery-style bread.

Ingredients

(Space between each line)

2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour (330 g)

1 cup warm milk (not hot)

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons soft butter

1 egg (room temperature)

2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast (1 packet)

1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing after baking)

Instructions

(Space between each paragraph/line)

Warm the milk slightly (should be warm to touch, not hot). Add sugar and yeast. Let it sit 5 minutes until foamy.

In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and softened butter.

Add the egg and yeast mixture to the flour. Mix until a sticky dough forms.

Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic (you can use a mixer or hands).

Grease a bowl, place the dough inside, cover, and let it rise 1 hour or until doubled.

Punch down the dough and divide into 7–9 equal balls.

Shape each piece into a smooth round ball.

Place them in a greased baking pan or cast-iron skillet like the picture.

Cover and let rise another 30–40 minutes until puffy.

Brush the tops with milk or an egg wash.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.

Brush warm rolls with melted butter for the perfect shine.
