2 large potatoes (peeled and grated)
1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
1/4 cup (60g) grated cheese (cheddar or parmesan works great)
1 large egg
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
