Cheeseburger Filling

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 500g ground beef (80/20 preferred)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • ½ cup ketchup or BBQ sauce (optional)
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika or chili flakes (optional)
  • 200g shredded cheddar or cheese cubes (American, mozzarella, gouda)

Dough Options

  • Homemade Dough:
    • 2¼ tsp active dry yeast
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • ¾ cup warm water (110°F / 43°C)
    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • ½ tsp salt
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Shortcut:
    • 1 can refrigerated biscuit or pizza dough (≈340g)

Garlic Parmesan Coating

  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (or 1 tbsp dried)
  • ½ cup grated parmesan
  • Optional: red pepper flakes or Italian seasoning
