Margaret Thompson’s voice shattered the silence of the diner. 79 years old, hands trembling violently, purple bruises wrapped around both wrists like fingerprints burned into her skin.
Seven Hells Angels bikers stopped mid-conversation. Every eye turned toward this frail woman standing before them, tears streaming down her face. Terror etched into every line.
The largest man rose slowly. 6’3″, leather vest, Death’s Head patch. “Who hurt you?”
She said, “Old women who talk too much have accidents.”
Margaret’s knees buckled. “She’s going to kill me.”
